I inform you of the South Australian Italian Association’s Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday 7^th December 2021 at 6:00pm, at 262a Carrington Street, Adelaide.

The Agenda of business to be conducted on the night shall be as follows:

1. Apologies, 2021 Minutes and Business arising from the 2021 Annual General Meeting.
2. President and Treasurer Reports A copy of the Audited End of June 2022 accounts will be available for attendees on the day. (If you wish to receive a copy of Audited financial statements prior to the meeting contact treasurer@saia.com.au)
3. Constitutional amendments
4. Election of the Committee
5. General Business

Proposed Constitutional Changes

1. Constitutional provisions to have life category members allowed to transfer their membership rights and not their life membership status to a family member upon their demise.

At last year’s 2021 AGM a motion was put forward regarding the transferring Foundation and other life memberships to a family member upon the original member’s demise.

The matter was discussed with the decision and action to amend the motion to include to be optional and then re-present to the next General Meeting of the Association.

Membership renewal

Please note your membership expires at the end of the year and we encourage you to renew at the AGM as committee members will be present to accept payment of membership for 2023 annual year.

After the closure of the meeting all attendees will then be invited to stay and enjoy some food and refreshments. I look forward to seeing you at our most important meeting of the year.
